Happiness and Friendships
Recently I have found myself smiling wider and laughing harder. The people I surround myself with are the main reason for this shift in emotion. I am extremely satisfied at this point in my life and it is because I have been cherishing the little moments with my friends and family before I leave for college. I think that finding good people is one of the most important things in life. When you find people who push you out of your comfort zone to try new and exciting things it makes life so much more fun. I am writing this article to give you all a little insight on how I thrive off of optimism and create an atmosphere filled with smiles and laughs.
When talking about friends, I have had my fair share of broken relationships both with friends and boyfriends. I think sometimes you have to have these bad experiences to learn and grow. I find that in my life these broken relationships have actually help guide me in the right direction. From these relationships I was able to learn what I want and need in both a friend and a boyfriend in order to be happy. Every person has different expectations when it comes to relationships, but my perspective is that as long as you have a good dosage of smiles and laughs together, along with a reasonable balance of seriousness then the relationship is healthy.
Sometimes it's easy to find good friends who share common interests with you and that happens when you are apart of a community. For me, I have made amazing friendships through my community at my gym. I belong to the cycling studio Flywheel, and here I have created a variety of wonderful friendships with the both the management and the clientes. Being a client myself, I find it so easy to have a conversation with the staff because they are always willing to answer your questions and get to know you. Furthermore, all of the other clients are passionate about spinning and want to get to know the others who share a similar lifestyle. My point here is that when two or more people begin to build a friendship, having a common interest can sometimes help get the ball rolling in the right direction.
Most importantly, my closest friends are the girls pictured above. These girls are my go-to girls and know me inside and out. We see each other every day at school and on the weekends we know how to have a good time. Although, next year we will be scattered all over the country, I know that they will only be a phone call away. We share so many fun stories and memories together and those will last a life time. I love you all so much and want to dedicate this post to you because without you all my life would be so dull.
Since I am beyond fortunate to have found people that make me extremely happy each and every day I wanted to share some of my thoughts. Getting to this place wasn't easy, but it was totally worth it. I am so lucky to have found people who are optimistic and have helped me live life to the fullest. Every person deserves to be happy and I hope that this article lifted up your spirits and made you more grateful for the amazing people in your life.
